MASTERING THE COLLEGE ESSAY:
A 3-MONTH MENTORSHIP
Offered to rising high school seniors from any school district wishing to prepare a stellar college application.
One-on-one guidance provided by the instructor over the subsequent 3-month period to facilitate construction and submission of essays.
Dates: Begins August 26, 2019
Essay writing mentorship is ongoing until applications are submitted. Students are provided one-on-one guidance with essay preparation and set-up, obtaining suitable recommendations, essay fine-tuning, scholarship resources and interview tips.
Mentoring will be provided by an English teacher with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing and more than 15 years of experience with the Ivy League application process. Participants will construct two top-notch college essays of their choice that will help to set them apart from other applicants.

Students must have access to a laptop computer, email, and Internet.
Students must have a basic understanding of how to use Google Docs.
Students must meet deadlines, welcome constructive criticism, and be willing to work on multiple revisions and rewrites as suggested by the instructor in order to create the best possible essays.
